How It Works
You don’t need to figure out 3D printing on your own. C Tech handles all the preparation, optimization, and printing. You just export and send.
1. Send Us Your Project — Send us your Earth Volumetric Studio project files and let us know which layers and features you want in the printed model. We’ll take it from there.
2. We Prepare & Print — C Tech optimizes your model for printing, adjusting geometry, ensuring layers separate cleanly, and managing color fidelity. Many modifications are required to print successfully, and we handle all of them.
3. Model Ships to You — Your finished full-color model is shipped by USPS Priority Mail, ready for presentations, client meetings, or display. International shipping is available.
Don’t have Studio? — For organizations that don’t yet have C Tech’s software, we can also create models from your data and have them printed. Contact us to discuss your project.

Sample Models
We offer sample 6-inch models like the ones below to help promote 3D printing within your organization. These are available below our cost to encourage adoption:
Limited to one sample model per office location. An additional $75 shipping charge applies for shipments outside the United States.
Note: Sample models are printed hollow to reduce cost, with small vent holes on the bottom of each layer. The engineering work to make these models affordable is only practical at volume.
Model Gallery
This coastal facility model consists of two separable layers incorporating geology, TCE contamination, 3D buildings, and an aerial photo. The layers fit together perfectly, and can be separated to reveal the contamination plume and underlying granite layer.
Printing Cost
The actual cost of full-color 3D printing typically runs approximately $30 per cubic inch ($1.83 USD per cu. cm.). C Tech handles all preparation as part of the service.
