C Tech will be holding a 4 day EVS and MVS advanced training class on September 13th-16th, 2010 (Monday – Thursday). This class will be held in Bellingham, WA at a Bellingham Technical College training facility.
This training class is only held once every 4-6 months, so if you are interested in a class this year, please contact C Tech immediately. Payment is required to secure your spot in the class.
The cost is $2,000 per student ($1,600 for Premier Program clients… unless using your included classes). Discounted rates for two or more students from the same organization are available.
Please contact Reed Copsey at 808-447-9751 or sales [at] ctech.com to secure a spot in the class, or to get more information.
A synopsis of the class content is below.
The class prerequisites are completion of all EVS and MVS workbooks, and at least 2 weeks (equivalent full time) experience running EVS or MVS. We strongly urge attendees to review the workbooks prior to coming to class. This will allow us to conduct the class at an advanced level.
The class will cover the operation of ALL modules in EVS-Pro and MVS (Mining Visualization System). Special focus will be given to analytically guided site assessment, geostatistics, advanced geologic modeling, automation and advanced animation concepts. This class is highly recommended for anyone who is more than a casual user of EVS or MVS.
Students are encouraged to bring data and applications from current consulting work to review and work on in class. You can expect significant accomplishments on these projects. A portion of the class time will also be devoted to student projects.
The class will be taught using the most current release or a pre-release version of the software. We will demonstrate all new modules that are in development at the time of the class to assure that the material covered will be up-to-date.
We recommend bringing a laptop computer if you plan on working with your own data, although you may be able to share with other students.
We will provide full licenses of MVS for use during the class. You do not need to bring your company’s EVS or MVS hardware key.
Class will start Monday at 8:30 AM and will be 8-9 hours per day (Mon-Thur) and will end at 4:30 pm on Thursday. Please plan all travel accordingly, allowing for drive time to the airport.
We require advance payment of $2,000 ($1,600 for Premier) for the 4 day class to secure a place in a class.
