Follow the following process for Enabling C Tech Preview and Launch window in Windows Vistas:
1) Click on the Start Button.
2) Right-Click on the All-Programs tag and select "Open All Users".
3) Find the C Tech program group under Start Menu -> Programs -> C Tech.
4) Right click on the "C Tech Preview and Launch Menu" shortcut and click on the Properties selection. If you are trying to save user specified values for the command window (i.e. position) select the shortcut for the version of EVS software you are running.
5) Select the Compatibility tab and under Privilege Level check the "Run this program as an administrator" toggle.
